The boisterous, flamboyant front man could often be mistaken for the ringleader of a one-man circus. John’s trajectory from seeming overnight success in 1970 to dangerous near-overexposure happened at a dizzying pace, though he’d put in the work before that he was classically trained at London’s Royal Academy of Music and played in blues bar bands since he was a teen. And Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is the mind-melting double-disc epic that could stand in for an encyclopedia entry on “music of the 1970s.” They’re the kind of albums that other artists would eat a feathered boa to pull off once, let alone back to back to back. Madman Across the Water levies a scorched-earth rebuke of critics. Honky Château is the album equivalent of the most perfectly paired French red wine and mellow weed Tumbleweed Connection is solid Americana on par with anything you’d hear from a Yankee in the 20th century. Elton John is as bold and excellent a first proper debut for a new artist as has maybe ever been released. Half a century ago, he released a total of seven LPs (including one double album!) in just shy of four years, all co-written with lyricist Bernie Taupin and often composed and recorded in a matter of hours or, at most, days.

The 76-year-old songwriter hasn’t just set a curve for success against which other artists’ best songs can be judged. ↑ File:Imstillstanding jd2019 credits. The biggest obstacle to creating a ranked list of every Elton John song ever is Elton John himself. There is an error in a promotional gameplay picture: Sunny is seen to have gotten a "PERFECT" and an "OK" at the same time, resulting in the feedbacks overlapping. The coach’s silhouette appeared in the E3 Song Reveal video as part of the banner used to represent the “Gamescom Song List” playlist. An orchestral instrumental version of I’m Still Standing was used as one of the songs in Ubisoft’s E3 2018 press conference.I’m Still Standing is the third song by Elton John in the entire franchise after We Were Born to Boogie from Dance on Broadway and Crocodile Rock from Just Dance Kids 2.The cover was performed by Kenny Metcalf, who was credited as Top Culture.

In the chorus, the background quickly slides to a sunset before hurricane-strength winds blow several sheets of paper, some crates, a table lamp, and the aforementioned objects away and behind the coach. After the objects finish falling, the city tilts backwards by 45 degrees, sending the objects and the coach sliding down. As the song progresses, the objects become bigger and heavier, among them being a ship’s anchor, a safe, an 80’s CRT TV, a metal rebar, an anvil, a 10-ton weight, a wrecking ball, a bathtub, a UFO, and a fishing boat. During most of the routine, the coach performs moves to avoid getting hit by falling objects that come from the sky, starting with flower pots. The background takes place in a cartoonish city, with the coach surfing on a wheeled upright piano before jumping off and landing on the road. He resembles Elton John from the music video. He wears a black hat with a aqua blue lace, a pair of round-rimmed sunglasses, and a pair of black shoes with light blue socks underneath.

He wears an overcoat of the same shade of green, with a blue handkerchief folded into his right chest pocket of the coat, and three blue buttons on the coat.

The trousers are baggy and bright green with blue stripes. He wears a bright yellow shirt, tucked into his trousers, and with a purple necktie, secured by a tie clip and black suspenders.
